Here's a peak at the comedians coming to Yeovil in 2019:

Thursday 21 February (Westlands) - Carl Hutchinson is back with his brand new show I Know I Shouldn't Behave Like This which sees Carl take his unique adolescent approach to grown up issues such as buying a house and having kids. His stories and observations have had crowds laugh their heads off year after year. (Buy tickets for this performance here)

Sunday 31 March (Westlands) - Nish Kumar talks politics, mankind’s capacity for self-destruction and whether it will lead to the end of days, in his brand new show It’s In Your Nature To Destroy Yourselves. Named as “one of the best young comedians we have” by The Times, Nish promises to bring good fun stuff to Yeovil with his intelligent and inventive performance. Thursday 11 April (Octagon) – Join Mark Steel as he tells us Every Little Thing’s Gonna Be Alright. A few years ago, it seemed unlikely that the UK would vote to leave the EU; we had a reasonable opposition to the Tory Government; Donald Trump was a buffoon who surely wasn’t going to beat Hillary Clinton and Mark was living the married suburban ideal, since then it’s all gone to pot! Friday 3 May (Octagon) – Paul Merton’s Impro Chums visit some of their favourite parts of the UK with another evening of mind-blowing improvisation. Paul is joined by Lee Simpson, Richard Vranch, Suki Webster, Mike McShane and accompanist Kirsty Newton. All will be flexing their improvisational muscles to delight and entertain audiences. Thursday 23 May (Octagon) – Julian Clary bares his soul as never before in the interests of light entertainment for his outrageously camp new show, Born To Mince. He’ll murder some well known songs along the way, no doubt, read you a sneak preview from his next memoir A Night At the Lubricant and make withering remarks about punters foolish enough to sit in the front row. Thursday 23 May (Westlands) – German Comedy Ambassador Henning Wehn has managed to carve out yet another show! What’s he still doing here anyway? Well, his lack of transferable skills is what keeps him here and his belief that practise makes perfect is what keeps him going. Join Henning for yet another fantastic evening with his new show Get On With It. (Buy tickets for this performance here)

Thursday 13 June (Octagon) – Celebrating his twentieth anniversary as a comedian living and performing in the UK, Reginald D Hunter comes to The Octagon Theatre with his highly anticipated new show for 2019, An American Facing Beast. Reginald will have the audience in the plan of his hand! (Tickets on sale soon)

Friday 28 June (Octagon) – Join Al Murray for his Landlord Of Hope And Glory Tour 2019. A new tomorrow beckons. A new tomorrow that smells reassuringly of yesterday, but with WiFi. Join Al to step backwards into the future with this wickedly witty show. (Buy tickets for this performance here)

Saturday 9 November (Octagon) – Mark Watson returns on tour with The Infinite Show. Inspired by the mostly alarming state of the world his children are growing up in, and a genuine, urgent desire to do something about it, this show is about empathy. As scrawny and impassioned as ever, one of the UK's most beloved and thinnest acts offers some suggestions, with his usual notoriously high joke and rant per minute rate. Saturday 7 December (Westlands) – Ardal O’Hanlon continues to tour his acclaimed stand-up shows worldwide. Because he loves it. And it’s a compulsion. And the world is a funny place. The Showing Off Must Go On sees Ardal forced to saddle his high horse again and ride fearlessly into the culture wars (with a white hankie in his pocket just in case (Buy tickets for this performance here)
