Duke Of Edinburgh Awards 2019

Bronze, Silver and Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award recipients from South Somerset will have their certificates presented by Ed Pratt, the first round the world unicyclist.

Guest Speaker, Ed Pratt: From the14th March 2015 to 27th July 2018, Ed Pratt circumnavigated the world on a unicycle! Starting and finishing in Somerset, his unique 22,000 mile journey on one wheel set records and also raised a huge amount of money for the local charity School in a Bag. (Ed has received the SCCC Chairman’s Award and the Prime Minister’s Points of Light Award.) We are delighted to have this opportunity to hear first-hand some of the fascinating stories about his unique experiences.
