Alexander McCall Smith (or Sandy as he is often known) is a true legend in the literary word. He has written and contributed to over a hundred books including fiction, non-fiction and more than thirty children’s books but he is best known for his No.1 Ladies Detective Agency series set in Botswana which has sold over twenty million copies worldwide. He'll be talking about his life and career also he'll be introducing his new books, A Song of Comfortable Chairs (No.1 Ladies' series), The Exquisite Art of Getting Even (new short story collection) and Sweet Remnants of Summer (Isabel Dalhousie series).

Alexander will be signing copies of his books afterwards.
