Somerset Diverse Communities (SDC) is inviting you to join the Yeovil Together community event to share and celebrate culture. Organised by Yeovil’s Ethnic Diverse Communities.

This is a FREE, family-friendly fun day open to everyone, so join us on Sunday 6 July 2025 from 12pm -  5pm at Westlands Entertainment Venue, Westbourne Close, Yeovil, BA20 2DD

Experience culturally diverse flavours of Yeovil, creative workshops, free wellbeing activities and join in by wearing clothes that celebrate your cultural heritage.

One of the highlights of the day is TEABREAK, a unique and uplifting dance and audio performance by acclaimed arts company Trigger. This will be the first time the North Somerset based company perform their production, TEABREAK, in Somerset, and we are delighted to be hosting them at Yeovil Together. Performances will take place at 1pm, 2.30pm and 4pm. With 45 seated spots per show and standing room available, it’s a special experience not to be missed.

In TEABREAK, audiences are invited to enjoy a complimentary cup of chai or peppermint tea, served from Trigger’s beautifully hand-painted tuk tuk, while two dancers perform among them. As you sip your tea, you’ll be guided on a gentle audio journey through the history and rituals of tea, celebrating how this simple comfort connects people across cultures and generations.
