An inclusive pottery workshop for disabled people and their carers, who are looking to learn new skills and get creative.
In this workshop participants will be making their own fish plaques to take home. Participants will start with pre rolled clay and be able to explore a range of textures, with a selection of fish templates to choose from. After that the possibilities are endless. Will your fish be realistic with scales or have eyelashes and a hair do? Create a truly unique fish with personality then add bright colours from a selection of paints.
This session is suitable for all abilities and is all about exploring and having fun. After the workshop your creations will be taken away to be fired in a kiln and returned ready for collection from Westlands Entertainment Venue 2 - 3 weeks later.
The workshop will be fully inclusive and accessible with an emphasis on self-expression and creativity. Carers are very welcome (and encouraged) to join in too!
