South Somerset Presentation Evening.

Bronze, Silver and Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award recipients from South Somerset will have their certificates presented by Felicity Aston MBE.

Award holder photographs will be taken at 6.30pm in the Ballroom. Guests can relax in the bar until the Ballroom doors open at 7.15pm. The presentations will start at 7:30pm.

Award recipients please collect your tickets from your DofE Leader.
Guests must book their seats through Westlands Entertainment and Conference Centre.

Felicity Aston MBE is a British polar explorer, an author, speaker, expedition leader and former Antarctic scientist. She has led numerous expeditions exploring the fringes of the map and was the first woman to ski alone across Antarctica. Felicity has written three inspiring books and regularly produces articles for various publications in the UK and abroad. She has co-presented two BBC documentaries. Ms Aston is a Fellow of both the Royal Geographical Society in London and The Explorers Club in New York and is a First Women ambassador. In 2015 Felicity Aston was awarded The Queen’s Polar Medal - one of very few women to have received this special honour – and was appointed MBE for services to polar exploration.
