The second film in the original trilogy follows the dramatic conclusion of Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, reuniting us with Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia and Han Solo as they lead the Rebel Alliance in the ongoing epic struggle against the resurgent Empire, led by Darth Vader. From the breathtaking AT-AT battle on ice planet Hoth, to the fateful lightsaber duel on Cloud City, The Empire Strikes Back has long been the benchmark by which all other Star Wars instalments are measured.
